Cast and Crew families:
Every crew and cast will have a photo and biography in the program. Your thespian MUST submit a bio to this email (or written on a piece of paper and handed to me at rehearsal) no later than NOVEMBER 16th! Please encourage your child to get it to me early. Two students have already submitted their bios – and there are prizes for early submissions.
How to write a biography for the program:
Answer the following questions in 3rd person:
Name and Grade? How many years have you been involved with Sylvan Drama? Have you been in other performances? Which ones? What roles? Is this your first performance?
Feel free to write more about yourself in 3rd person:
If it helps, use the following questions as guides; otherwise, just write what comes to mind – please keep it short and sweet! J
What do you like most about being in the play?
Is there something that you are really proud of and why?
What are some of your hobbies? What do you do outside/after school?
What would you like to do when you grow up?
Example: Sally Smith is excited to be part of her third musical at West Sylvan Drama. She is in the 8th grade and loves to sing, act and dance. In her spare time she plays soccer and plays trumpet in the school band. She wants to perform on Broadway when she grows up or become a doctor. She would like to thank her family for supporting her dreams.
The program editor reserves the right to edit your bio for space and content as needed.
