Bob Rasmussen is stepping up to a new/old challenge as Music Director this year, having last done that job in 1977 for Godspell at Linfield College. Usually at West Sylvan he plays the part of rehearsal accompanist and pit musician on one or more keyboards playing up to 60 sounds. He’s done that for ten years, starting with Godspell. Prior to that, he played six musicals at Lincoln High School, starting with (wait for it…) Godspell. He has ventured onto stage every forty years or so, most recently as Zoltan Karpathy in “My Fair Lady” for Sherwood Foundation for the Arts. When he’s not making music he works other keyboards as president of Rasmussen Software, sings in a church choir, and does 3D videography.
